China to continue efforts in combating piracy

China will continue to crack down on piracy, said Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Liu Jianchao Thursday.

At a regular press briefing, Liu acknowledged that lots of piracy cases still exist in China as the country is in the primary stage of development.

"However, China's attitude towards the protection of intellectual property rights (IPR) is serious and earnest," the spokesman said.
