Construction: Property prices up (SD-Agencies) Updated: 2006-03-30 14:35 Property prices in China rose
5.5 percent in February from a year earlier, matching January's growth rate, the
National Development and Reform Commission said Tuesday.
China's property prices in February rose 0.7 percent from January, down from
January's 0.9 percent increase from December, according to a survey of property
prices in 70 large and medium-sized cities on the mainland. The National
Development and Reform Commission posted the survey results on its Web site.
Shanghai's property prices fell 1.1 percent in February from the same month a
year earlier, while Beijing's rose 6.9 percent, according to the National
Development and Reform Commission. February property prices in the northeastern
city of Dalian rose 14.6 percent from a year earlier, while those in Shenzhen
