Nokia launched three new phone models on Thursday, unveiling the handsets in
China as it targets new clients in fast-growing emerging markets. All three new
models, the Nokia 1112, 2310 and 2610, are expected to hit shops in the
April-June quarter.(CE.cn)
SVA Group's SVA Communications Co, Baosteel's Shanghai Baosight Software and
Changan Group's CAIT have teamed up with foreign IT giants including Oracle and
IBM. SVA and Oracle opened a research hub called the SVA-Oracle Center of
Excellence for High-tech Manufacturing in Shanghai yesterday. SVA
Communications, founded in 1999 with 150 million yuan (US$18.63 million) in
registered capital, has attracted clients such as China Mobile and Founder using
Oracle's enterprise resource planning software. (Shanghai
