IPR: Chinese goods good enough (Chinanews.cn) Updated: 2006-04-24 15:20
"China has had a large variety of very good products, why should Chinese
people stick to using faked foreign-brand goods?!"
The comment was made on Thursday afternoon by Mr. Olivier Guyonvarch,
Counsellor of Press and Communication of the French Embassy in China, who added
that for him, he always tried to buy Chinese goods when he went shopping in
China. He suggested that Chinese people, when travelling abroad, should also use
domestic goods whenever possible to show that Chinese goods are really good
enough.
The French counsellor had worked in the middle part of France for eight years
before he came to China. He said as far as he is concerned, it was the first
time for him to hear the news about a Chinese consumer being punished for using
fake branded products in France. While it was quite a common thing for French
people to get punishment for similar acts, Chinese people's great concern about
the issue might be due to other reasons,he said. (For more biz stories, please visit Industry Updates) |
