Li Baosheng, Chairman of the Electronics & Information Industry Sub-Council under the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), recently indicated that China welcomes American electronic products to enter its market. CCPIT will invite American electronics merchants to participate in the Asia & America Electronics Show which is to open in August.

Although the EU and the United States formed alliance in setting barriers against China's textile products in last year's textile trade war, the situation has changed this year. When participating in an international shoe fair in Dongguan City, Peter Mangione, President of the Footwear Distributors & Retailers of America (FDRA), said that the United States advocates free trade of footwear products, and the US market welcomes China-made shoes.
