US pharmaceutical firm, the Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) Company, aims to
achieve sales of US$1 billion in China in 2010 in anticipation of the growing
Chinese market and has adjusted its strategies accordingly.
Sales last
year reached over 1 billion yuan (US$124 million).
"Asia is the most
promising emerging market for BMS worldwide and China is the most promising in
the region," said Cui Yiling, chairwoman of Sino-American Shanghai Squibb
Pharmaceuticals Ltd, the flagship company of the global drug
