Agriculture: Ensure products safety

China's farm producers whose products quality fail to meet the country's
safety standard will be punished and dealt with according to law.
A source with the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and
Quarantine said in Beijing on Thursday that China will gradually introduce a
source tracing system for farm produce sold in the market.
In line with a draft law on farm produce quality safety, which was examined
and discussed on Tuesday by the Standing Committee of the National People's
Congress, farm produce are not allowed to be sold in the market if they contain
pesticide and medicines for animals that are forbidden by the
government.
