A total of 922,200 laptops were sold in China in the first quarter of this
year, up 38.9 percent over last year, the China Securities Journal reported last
week.
According to a report by the CCID Consulting, a leading consulting company in
China, the sales volume reached 8.951 billion yuan (US$1.1 billion), up 23
percent on the previous year, much higher than the growth rate of desktop
