Online advertising in China had a total market value of 977 million yuan
(US$121.4 million) during the first quarter of 2006, according to China-based
consulting company Analysys International.
There were about 334,000 online advertisers with most of them, especially
small and medium-sized businesses, purchasing keyword search-based advertising,
