Statistics show that the average life span of Chinese companies is only 7.3 years, and that of corporate brands is less than two years.

According to report of China Youth, less than 20% of China's foreign trade companies of various types have their own brands, and the export volume of independent brands constitutes less than 10% of China's overall export volume.

Last year, only four Chinese brands, namely Haier, Lenovo, CCTV and Changhong, made the list of World's 500 Most Influential Brands, while the US took 249 spots on the list.
