Finance: Firms to raise staff strength

Three of the most influential auditing firms in China -- PwC, DTT and KPMG -- will greatly increase their employee numbers in the nation due to demand from the fast-growing accounting business.

PricewaterhouseCoopers China plans to recruit 1,550 graduates and 500 to 700 experienced staff in auditing, tax and consultation this year. It has more than 7,000 employees across the country currently.

"The whole accounting industry is flourishing, so all the main account firms are busily engaged in creaming off the top talents," said Chen Yin from the market department of PwC.
