The recently concluded 17th China Harbin International Fair for Trade and Economic Co-operation (CHTF) brought Heilongjiang Province a huge number of tourists, besides enormous opportunities for investment, sales and co-operation, said sources from the provincial tourism administration.

The province has stepped into its summer holiday tourist peak period earlier than previous years, thanks to the fair.

During the fair period, the province saw an increasing number of tourists from home and abroad flock into its well-known scenic spots, such as Central Street, Sun Island and the Northeast China Tiger Garden.
