Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics plans to publicize Beijing's housing prices every month starting from this month, Beijing News reported today, quoting bureau spokeswoman Yu Xiuqin.

From January to May, the housing price index in Beijing increased 9.4 percent, according to the bureau's statistics.

Some of the information released by the government had been mistakenly used or abused as the information from different departments was not well-integrated, Yu said.
