Leading Chinese TV maker Skyworth Digital Holdings Ltd's fiscal 2006 net profit plunged 43 percent, it said today, about a dozen days after its founder and brother each got six-year jail terms for conspiring to embezzle company funds, the Associated Press reported.

Net profit for the year ending March 31 was HK$216 million (US$27.8 million), compared to HK$376 million in the previous fiscal year, Skyworth said.

Revenue rose to HK$10.7 billion from HK$10.47 billion.
