Law firm expands fellowship in China (China Daily) Updated: 2006-08-09 13:50
Jones Day, one of world's largest law firms, has expanded its Jones Day
International Legal Fellowship to two Chinese cities, a move it said is designed
to encourage legal education in China.
The US law firm granted 10 law
students the fellowship in Beijing this time.
Inaugurated in 2001 in
China, the annual fellowship was previously only awarded to 10 outstanding law
students in Shanghai.
The awards are based on academic record, original
thought, oral and written presentation skills in English and Chinese as well as
other achievements. (For more biz stories, please visit Industry Updates)
