Novell launches platform

software maker, launched its SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 platform in China
yesterday. The new platform, comprising Linux Enterprise server and Linux
Desktop systems, is expected to help the company boost its position in the
enterprise computing market.
The US-based company has 32.9 per cent of
China's Linux server operating systems market in 2005, the biggest share of all
software makers, according to IDC China, an IT consultancy.
