IT: Lenovo gets Dell manager (China Daily HK) Updated: 2006-09-01 13:46
Lenovo Group Ltd, the world's third-largest computer maker, said yesterday it
had hired another former executive from bigger rival Dell Inc, the latest such
departure from the troubled US firm.
Gerry Smith former vice-president of Dell's Singapore design centre and its
displays business unit, was named senior vice president, global supply chain at
Lenovo.
Smith replaced Liu Jun who would take a one-year sabbatical to pursue
