More than 300,000 incoming passengers passed through land, sea and air control points of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on October 1, China's National Day, the HKSAR Immigration Department said on Monday.

Official statistics indicated that 47.5 percent of the 315,700 incoming passengers passed through the Lo Wu control point bordering south China's Shenzhen city.

And 25 percent and 11 percent of the incoming passengers passed through Lok Ma Chau and the international airport control points, respectively.

The data also showed that between Friday and Sunday, more than 870,000 people arrived in Hong Kong, with 46.5 percent passing through the Lo Wu control point. During the same period, nearly one million passengers left Hong Kong and 48.5 percent of them also passed through the Lo Wu control point.
