Macro economy: China's consumer price index up 1.9%

China's Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 1.9 percent in November over the same period last year, said sources with the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Monday.

The figure was 0.5 percentage point higher than that in October, said the report.

Grain prices increased by 4.7 percent year on year, one percentage point higher than the rise in October.
