Macro economy: China 2007 CPI growth seen within 3%

China's consumer price index (CPI) is likely to increase no more than three pct next year, the assistant governor of the central bank Yi Gang said.

He told reporters on the sidelines of a financial seminar that prices will be relatively stable next year.

China's consumer price index was up 1.3 pct year-on-year in the January to November period this year.
