Bomb explosions in the Thai capital Bangkok have affected some Shenzhen tourists¡¯ plans to visit the country. Travel agencies say that some who had signed up for visits have asked to cancel their trips.

The Pengchengkanghui Travel Agency said that 10 of the 30 tourists who registered for Thailand package tours Saturday have asked to either postpone the tour or change the route. Some even asked to quit the tour completely.

Shenzhen¡¯s main travel agents, however, have said they have no plans to change their tours to Thailand. But they advised people planning to visit Thailand to wait until the situation is clearer.

Some tourists returning from Bangkok to Shenzhen said that Thailand was still quite safe for travelers.
