Recruiter JobsDB.com eyes mainland(China Daily)Updated: 2007-01-25 10:39 The Asia-Pacific's top online recruitment service provider JobsDB.com will expedite its expansion on the Chinese mainland market, according to its chief executive. "Our aim is to become one of the mainland's top three online recruitment companies in two years," JobsDB.com's CEO Bill Chang told China Daily. "By the end of 2007 we will establish at least three branch offices in Beijing, Hunan and Sichuan." The firm currently operates five branches in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Dongguan and Zhongshan through its 51.88 percent-owned subsidiary CJOL.com. Chang said CJOL.com would remain the driving force behind JobsDB.com's expansion on the mainland. "CJOL.com is and will continue to be responsible for handling all JobsDB.com's online recruitment services on the mainland." CJOL.com is South China's largest online recruitment service provider and the country's fourth-largest after 51job.com, ChinaHR.com and zhaopin.com. Its daily hits exceed 20 million, while the number of jobs posted range from 20,000 to 50,000 a day. "In the peak season for job hunting, March to May, we have offered over
50,000 job vacancies per day," said a CJOL.com employee.
