Commercial bribery still campaign focus

Gao Fengtai, former president of the Heilongjiang Tourism Group, was jailed for 15 years in August 2006 for taking bribes of 3.05 million yuan ($393,000) between 2000 and 2002.

Sun Tiemin, former director of the economic and technological cooperation office of the city Government of Ningbo, in East China's Zhejiang Province, was sentenced to 14 years in prison in July 2006 for taking bribes of about $252,000.

Ding Sanyou, former director of the Coal Administration of Zhengzhou in Central China's Henan Province, was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment in November 2006 for taking bribes of 2.12 million yuan ($278,000) and possessing unidentified property worth about $286,000.

Li Jinhe, former president of Hubei University, was jailed for 13 years in December 2006 for taking bribes totalling $822,000.
