Shenzhen-listed CD display maker BOE Technology said yesterday it would spin off its fifth-generation LCD lines to haul it out of debt.

BOE Technology has the most advanced LCD panel lines in China, but it has been in the red for two consecutive years.

Further losses this year would see the company delisted.
