Continental Airlines recently signed an interline e-ticket partnership with China Southern Airlines, paving the way for the Chinese carrier to become an official member of Sky Team by the end of this year.

The agreement allows Continental to issue e-tickets for the routes, including domestic ones, serviced by China Southern, and vice versa. Customers of both carriers will be able to travel on just one electronic ticket for the entire journey.
