Updated: 2007-04-20 17:04 Twenty-nine KTV bar owners in South China's Guangdong Province received copyright access licenses yesterday after paying royalties for three months, six months or a year to the China Audio and Video Collective Management Association's Guangdong office. Most of the city's KTV bars pay royalties at the preferential rate of 8 yuan ($1) per room per day, the association vice-president, Wang Huapeng, said, when the standard rate is 12 yuan.
