According to Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company's plan for this year, the truck company hopes to sell 167,000 vehicles in 2007, an increase of 9.7 percent from last year. Market share is expected to increase by two percentage points.

There will also be more dealers and after-sales service stores to meet the targets. Dealerships nationwide are expected to increase four percent to 297 and 3S (sale, spare parts and services) shops are expected to surge 15 percent year on year to 160.

Tong Dongcheng, general manager of Dongfeng, said the high-end heavy truck series called the Tianlong has been released, including towing trucks, dumpers as well as flat platform freight loaders.
