Feasibility study on second West-East gas pipeline beginsBy Du Xiaoli (chinadaily.com.cn)Updated: 2007-06-11 09:24 China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC) has started research on its second West-East gas pipeline project in Northwest China's Shaanxi Province, according to China Business News.
The project, involving 7,700 kilometers of pipelines, will cost 102.1 billion yuan. CNPC plans to begin construction in December 2008 and complete a section from Zhongwei City in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region to Guangzhou by December 2010.
