PSA mulls new plan for China operations

Peugeot Citroen profits rebound

In order to make up for its decreasing profits in the European market, PSA Peugot Citroen has set its long-term strategy for China. Christian Streiff, the new head of PSA, made this announcement recently, adding that details will be released in September.

As part of the new plan, PSA will set up an operation in Beijing to deal with all its businesses in China, which will help PSA get instant information about the Chinese market and react as soon as possible.

According to Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Company, in the new program, the new PSA models will probably be released earlier than previously planned. Meanwhile, the designing of the new models will take more consideration of Chinese consumers' tastes.
