Yunnan Copper sees lost sales of 130m yuan

Updated: 2008-05-14 13:35 Yunnan Copper Industry Co Ltd, an affiliate of Aluminum Corp of China Ltd, said it expects lost sales of some 130 million yuan ($18.58 million) as a result of disrupted rail transportation in the wake of the Sichuan earthquake. In a statement filed with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, the company said it has received notice from the local railway authority that rail operations in Sichuan are not expected to be at normal levels over the next 15 days.
