Digital China profits surge 50% in first three quarters

Chinese IT service provider Digital China Holdings Limited said on Thursday that its net profit grew 50.83 percent to HK$506 million in the nine months ending in December last year.

The firm's revenue grew 22.11 percent to HK$32.2 billion in the first three fiscal quarters.

"As we stayed focused on our core strategy of transformation to a service-oriented approach and the enhancement of customer value, Digital China maintained a growth rate way beyond the industry average through the adjustment of overall management and operational strategies in a timely manner," said Guo Wei, Chairman and CEO of Digital China.

The revenue of Digital China's service business surged 33.44 percent to HK$4.1 billion in the period, while its system business and distribution business grew 35.36 percent and 13.71 percent respectively.
