The China Guodian Corp signed an agreement to build two hydropower stations in Cambodia, the company said in a website statement last Thursday.

The plants will have a combined output capacity of 2.7 million kilowatts, according to the statement.

Sinochem Group, China's biggest chemical products provider, sold its 30-year bonds at yields approaching those of the US' Dow Chemical Co, as investors showed confidence in its push to expand globally through acquisitions.

The firm issued $500 million in 6.3 percent securities, due November 2040, to yield 228 basis points more than similar-maturity US Treasuries, last Thursday.
