China's stocks close higher Friday

BEIJING - Chinese stocks closed higher Friday, as the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 0.33 percent, or 9.17 points, to 2,827.33 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index rose 1 percent, or 121.98 points, to 12,292.49 points.
