China's construction machinery maker Sany Group donated a concrete pump truck to Tokyo Electric Power Company on March 22 to help the company cool down its crippled nuclear reactors at Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. The truck is set to arrive in Fukushima on March 26, the Shanghai Securities News reported.

On March 19, the Tokyo Electric Power Company appealed for aid through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, asking for Sany's pump truck to help the cool-down process. Sany Group also dispatched two technicians to help the rescue workers in Japan to use the machine. The machinery bears a 62-meter-long arm, which is able to pump water into the reactors from a distance.
