BEIJING -- China has raised prices of electricity for industrial use in some regions by around 20 yuan ($3.08) per 1,000 kilowatt-hour, said the country's top economic planner on Monday.

Prices of power for residential use remain unchanged, according to the National Development and Reform Commission.
