China is to speed up land supply for its massive affordable housing projects, the State Council said in an executive meeting Wednesday.

China plans to construct 10 million affordable housing units this year.

Land supply for the nation's affordable housing went up 24 percent year-on-year to 16,477 hectares in the first half of this year, the Ministry of Land and Resources said Wednesday.
