Taipei, Beijing listed as top cities for hosting business meetings

Beijing - Taipei, Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai were ranked as the top 50 cities for holding global business conferences in 2010, according to a report released at the China Incentive, Business Travel and Meeting Exhibition on Tuesday.
Ten Asian cities were listed in the report, with Taipei, Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai ranking 11th, 12th, 20th and 21st, respectively.
Xu Huafeng, an official from the exhibition's organizing committee, said that Asian cities have become more popular with global exhibition planners in recent years. In 2010, 236 global business conferences were held on the Chinese mainland.
