Alfa Romeo, the historic sports car now owned by Italian automaker Fiat, will finally go on sale in China, according to a recently signed memorandum between Fiat Group and Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC).

Alfa Romeo had its first official presence in China at the recent Guangzhou auto show. Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Fiat, will unveil a new global strategy for the sports car in the next 12 to 18 months, said Zheng Xiancong, general manager of GAC Fiat.
