Moutai retail chain launched

A nationwide Moutai-flavor liquor retailing chain was officially launched on Monday in Beijing, which will establish direct sales channels for distillers and standardize the liquor distribution and retail market.

The chain - Guizhou Moutai-Flavor Chain Retailing Co - will sell only Moutai-flavor liquor produced in Guizhou province, the home of China's national liquor Kweichow Moutai, and 20 flagship stores and 2,000 outlets are expected to be established in 28 municipalities, provinces and autonomous regions within three years, said the company.
