BEIJING -- China's stocks rallied Wednesday after Premier Wen Jiabao said Tuesday that stabilizing growth is the most pressing matter facing the nation currently, which boosted confidence.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rebounded 0.51 percent, or 10.95 points, to close at 2,175.38.
The Shenzhen Component Index gained 1.18 percent, or 111.57 points, to close at 9,588.29.
