Thailand is an ideal destination for Chinese investors and welcomes more Chinese private companies, said Somsak Kiatsuranont, president of the National Assembly of Thailand while addressing a visiting Chinese private enterprise delegation Friday in Bangkok, capital of Thailand.

"Along with the deepening ASEAN integration, member states's economic exchange with China is moving full steam ahead, and I hope more active participation of Chinese companies in Thailand," Kiatsuranont told Aigo Enterpreneurs Alliance, a consortium with 100 Chinese private enterprises.

Enjoying the geographic advantage of being in the center of Southeast Asia, Thailand has become a hub of raw materials, labor forces, transportation and logistics of this region, and the Thai people are always friendly to Chinese since the two countries has many cultural similarities, said Kiatsuranont.

"I believe Thailand is the best choice among ASEAN countries for Chinese investors," he concludes, adding that the Thailand government will support Chinese investors with favorable policies on land use, loan, taxation, and more.

Thailand is the first stop for Aigo Enterpreneurs Alliance's ASEAN tour. The entrepreneurs will also visit Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia in the following week to choose two countries from the four to set up their base in Southeast Asian.

Aiming at helping Chinese enterprises and brands to extend their reaches around the globe, the Aigo Enterpreneurs Alliance members will visit countries such as the US and Latin American countries in the future to get to know their investment environment and establish more overseas bases.
