Car prices continue to fall in Sept

Prices of both domestically made and imported vehicles in 36 Chinese cities continue to fall, according to statistics from the price supervision center at the National Development and Reform Commission, China's top economic regulator.
Average September prices for locally made passenger and commercial vehicles both decreased for a fifth consecutive month with a decline of 0.10 percent from August and a 1.22 percent decline from September last year.
Imported vehicle prices remained virtually flat in September, down 0.04 percent from August, but a 3.96 percent decline from a year earlier.
