Chinese stocks open slightly lower - April 15

BEIJING - Chinese stocks opened slightly lower on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,199.91 points, down 0.31 percent.

The Shenzhen Component Index dropped 0.48 percent to open at 8,792.91.
