Fourth session of the China-Eurasia Expo with focus on increasing cooperation and opening-up of Silk Road Economic Belt will be organized in Urumqi from Sept 1 to 6, according to a news conference held in Beijing on Thursday.
With a series of ministerial forums on science and technology, transportation, media, culture, agriculture, e-commerce and textile, the exhibition will promote exchange of ideas and cooperation among countries along the Silk Road.
"We will give priority to textile and garment industries as these sectors are expected to create one million jobs," said Shi Dagang, vice-chairman of the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.
Meanwhile, major companies that have close connections and stake in the development of China and Eurasian countries will be fully supported.
The previous three sessions have witnessed the signing of 513 projects worth $17.3 billion.
