On the inside, the vehicle earns points for its sharp design, which features high-quality seats in black leather optic, crystal gray fabric inserts in the backrests and crystal gray stitching.
Smart has also equipped the car with two engine options - a 52 kW mhd petrol engine or a 62 kW in-line turbo engine - a three-spoke steering wheel with shift paddles, softouch five-speed automated manual transmission, and a transparent panoramic roof with sunblind for added comfort and control.
These features bring smart's unique charm to life and make the citybeam edition a surefire crowd pleaser.
"We are confident that this special model will impress smart fans while bringing them a driving experience found nowhere else," said Daniel Lescow, director of smart operation at Beijing Mercedes-Benz Sales Service Co Ltd.
The smart citybeam is expected to continue smart's success in China, which has been built with vehicles like the smart electric drive.
As the first fully electric imported vehicle in the Chinese market, the smart electric drive received a warm welcome from trendy, environmentally conscious drivers after it launched in Beijing and Shanghai last year.
