BEIJING - Toshiba will recall 531,778 AC power supply cords for Toshiba laptops on the Chinese mainland due to overheating problem, China's top quality supervisor said on Tuesday.
The recall started on Nov 25 and concerns AC power supply cords manufactured between Sept 2010 and June 2012, said the announcement released by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
Toshiba will replace them free of charge, said the announcement.
