In March, it was announced the former chairman of FAW was under investigation for suspected serious violations of the law. FAW's former general manager and deputy general manager were trialed and sentenced in 2012. It was announced last year that Dongfeng Motor's vice-president was under investigation, and a total of 55 former management team members in the group were announced to have violated the law, including executives in the passenger car company, Dongfeng Honda joint venture and other subsidy companies.
