This also signifies that Shuanghe Farm has a complete industry chain of breeding, germination, planting, storage, processing, and marketing.
The farm, which is located in Gannan county of Heilongjiang province's Qiqihar city, was founded in 1956. It has been under the management of Beijing Capital Agribusiness Group, which is owned by the Beijing government, since 2012. In the past three years, the group has invested 114 million yuan ($17.8 million) to develop the farm's comprehensive industrial chain.
Gao Qingshan, Party chief and head of Shuanghe Farm, said that the farm will improve its marketing strategy and further control the quality of its products so it can offer the best food products to customers nationwide.
The farm claims to be the largest unhusked rice processing center in the area, and the production line can process 200 tons of unhusked rice per hour using the most advanced equipment of its kind in western Heilongjiang province.
On the same day, eight retail dealers from other provinces and cities signed deals with the farm, ordering 60,000 tons of its high-quality rice in total.
