In China, some people are getting away from metropolis living in favour of rural areas to do what they love. Zhang Yiqiu is one of these people. She resigned from her more than 1 million yuan-a-year ($149,526) job in June. Now, she is living in a small village in Guilin, running her own handmade notebook business.
Zhang started to make notebooks by herself two years ago. Last year, her works were credited at Beijing Design Week, and many customers now desire the artworks.
Zhang says she is really proud of her life now because making notebooks is her hobby. "I just want to do something I like, although the road to pursue my dream will be full with hardship," Zhang said.
