Domestic long-distance tours account for 46 percent of the summer trips; visits to neighboring countries take up 24 percent; and outbound trips get around 30 percent.
About 33 percent of interviewees said their summer trip cost more than 5,000 yuan ($753.6) per person. Around 17 percent spent between 2,001 yuan and 3,000 yuan per person on their trips.
More than 60 percent of those who plan to take overseas trips have a budget of over 5,000 yuan per person. And 35.7 percent of domestic long-distance travelers also plan to spend more than 5,000 yuan. More than 62.1 percent of those who choose to visit a near-distance destination have a budget of 2,000 yuan per person.
